What an amazing afternoon!
@frso_seattle helped us make zines, protest signs and they presented on the history of May Day and how in 1886 the working class joined together in the hundreds of thousands to fight for better working conditions, including the 40 hour work week! [ we can bring that down to 25 :) ]
Show strength in numbers with your fellow working class by joining a protest next Thursday May 1st!
And!! Thank you to the amazing volunteers that helped out today! I was able to repair my bag thanks to Marie’s help!
Next meeting is on May 10th where we’ll be holding a clothing swap / clothing alteration event, so bring those clothes you never wear, and that shirt you’ve been wanting to crop!
